The Lacey Complex, located just north of the Oskaloosa Elementary School, is a multi-sport facility that encompasses 200 acres of land.
The Lacey Complex features five ball diamonds served by a pentagon-shaped concession stand, 20 soccer fields on 25 acres of land, and a football field. There is parking for about 350 vehicles at the Lacey Complex. It features permanent outdoor lighting by the ball diamonds for night games.
A variety of organizations use the Lacey Complex such as Mahaska Soccer League, the William Penn University soccer team, Oskaloosa and Mahaska County Little League organizations, softball teams, T-ball teams, YMCA for football and more.
Mahaska Community Recreation Foundation officials are developing a Solar Walkway between the football field and ball diamonds that will feature a model of the solar system to educate and entertain both players and fans. MCRF and Trees Forever are collaborating on planting a tree-line windbreak for the complex. The recreation trail goes through the complex as well.
